Institute for Contemporary China Studies (ICCS) adopts president responsibility system led by ICCS Council. ICCS Council is responsible for the decision making and coordination of ICCS’s major issues. The vice president of Tsinghua University responsible for liberal arts administration serves as director of the ICCS council. School of Public Policy and Management, School of Social Sciences, Institute of Education and Education Foundation of Tsinghua University appoint their staff as members of the council.

Institute for Contemporary China Studies (ICCS) sets one president and several vice presidents. President of ICCS shall be appointed by Tsinghua University. The nomination of the vice president shall be made by the president, be submitted to the council for approval and be reported to school for examination and record, and then the vice presidents shall be hired by Institute for Contemporary China Studies, Tsinghua University. The president shall be responsible for ICCS daily operation and management.

Institute for Contemporary China Studies (ICCS) sets an Academic Committee, which is responsible for ICCS academic goals, tasks, directions, social service and other development work.
