Dr. Hongchuan Wang is an assistant professor at the School of Public Policy & Management, research fellow at Institute for Contemporary China Study, Tsinghua University, research fellow at Center of Tsinghua Think Tanks and Institute for Contemporary China Studies, Tsinghua University. He holds PhD in Public Administration from the School of Public Policy & Management of Tsinghua University in 2015. He also served as research fellow at Harvard University from 2013 to 2014.
He participated several national strategy projects such as the 12th National Five-Year Plan, the 13th National Five-Year Plan, Healthy China 2030, Modernization of China's Education and National High-end Think Tank Research. He had more than ten research articles published in Chinese or English. He also wrote more than twenty policy consulting reports some of which was adopted by relevant departments. He had more than ten newspaper article published by People's Daily, Guangming Daily or Economic Daily, etc.. He won prizes like Beijing Outstanding Graduate Student, National Development Research Scholarship, and Southwest United University Scholarship.
