Prof. Su Jun is the specially-appointed professor of the Cheung Kong Scholars Programme, Ministry of Education, and he is currently the Director of the Center for Science, Technology & Education Policy, Director of the Tsinghua University Think Tank Center (preparation), Vice Director of the China Institute for Science and Technology Policy at Tsinghua University. He is also the Vice Director of the Teaching Steering Committee of Public Administration Disciplines under the Ministry of Education and member of the Management Department of Science and Technology Committee of Ministry of Education. He was selected into the National Talent Project and was awarded the title of Young Talents with Outstanding Contribution.
Prof. Su was a visiting scholar at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, Harvard Kennedy School. He is a part-time fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School, a part-time researcher at the Fletcher School of Tufts University and the Chinese Chairman of the Tsinghua-Harvard Workshop on Low-Carbon Development and Public Policy.
Prof. Su has long been engaged in the teaching and research of innovative theory and public policy. He has been in charge of a number of scientific research projects such as key projects of the Natural Science Foundation of China and its key international cooperation projects. He has published many academic articles on international academic journals such as Nature. His book Introduction to Public Policies of Science and Technology is the textbook for graduate students in many universities and he co-authored an array of books.
