Liu Shenlong is the associate professor of School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University, the associate researcher of the Institute for Contemporary China Studies, Tsinghua University and the visiting scholar of the University of Toronto. He was an associate researcher of the Institute of Quantitative & Technical Economics and deputy director of Economic System Analysis Studio, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
He is engaged in the academic research of quantity economics, development economics and education and human capital, and he undertakes research subjects such as population aging, household savings, infrastructure and economic development for the state ministries and commissions. He has published books on infrastructure and economic development, population aging and so on, and he has also published nearly 40 papers on infrastructure and economic development, education and human capital, and household savings on domestic top academic journals and international SSCI source journals.
