Zhou Shaojie is currently the Associate Professor of School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University. He graduated from Department of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua University with a bachelor’s degree in 1999; he graduated from School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University with a master degree in 2002; and he graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a doctor degree in Economics in 2007.
His research interests include development economics, China's economy, well-being research, public finance and development planning. He has successively undertaken two research projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has won the Best Paper Award of Werner Jackst dt China's Economic and Business Studies of Economics Quarterly 2008-2009 (Volume 8).
