Wang Yahua is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University; he is the Assistant Dean of School of Public Policy and Management and of China Institute for Rural Studies, Tsinghua University. He is also a member of the Expert Committee of the Development Research Center of the Ministry of Water Resources. He is also the editorial board member of the Journal of Water Economy and the Director of the Institutional Analysis Society of Asia, and the consultant of WWF-China.
He has published such works as "Interpretation of Water Rights", "National Conditions and Development", "Research on Water Environment Management Responsibility Mechanism", "China Water Development Stage Study" and "China Water Governance Reform Series". He has been rewarded for Tsinghua University Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Prize, Tsinghua University Outstanding Postdoctoral, Tsinghua University Academic Promising Youngsters, and Tsinghua University Advanced Faculty. He has been selected into Tsinghua University Backbone Talent Support Program, the Ministry of Education "New Century Excellent Talent Support Plan", and Beijing Youth Social Sciences Theoretical Talents "Hundred Talents Project".
