Zheng Jinghai Prof. Hits:5124


Prof. Zheng Jinghai received his doctoral degree in economics from University of Gothenburg in 1997. He is now the associate professor in the Department of Economics of University of Gothenburg and the guest researcher at the Institute for Contemporary China Studies, Tsinghua University. He also served as a visiting professor of “985 Project” in the School of Economics, Zhejiang University. He is an internationally renowned expert in applied productivity analysis. Since 2000, he has been a visiting scholar at London School of Economics, University of Cambridge, Tsinghua University and Peking University. He was a professor of Longjiang Scholar Lecture at Harbin Engineering University fom 2010 to 2013. He was twice elected as the President of the Chinese Economic Association (Europe) (2009- 2010, 2014 -2015). He won the best conference paper prize of the Chinese Economic Association (UK) for three consecutive years. He was nominated for China Economic Quarterly paper prize of the year in 2005.
