Yang Yongheng was admitted to Nankai University in 1992 and got bachelor’s degree in Economics, master’s degree in Business Administration there. He graduated from the Business School of City University of Hong Kong with a doctoral degree in Management Sciences. He was a lecturer in the Business School of Nanjing University in December 2002. He entered the School of Public Policy and Management of Tsinghua University to do post-doctoral research in January 2004. He has been in charge of more than 60 key subjects of the National Social Science Fund of China, the National Excellent Youth Science Fund, the Natural Science Foundation of China, the Word Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Culture. He has published 16 English academic papers onPublic Administration Review, Public Performance & Management Review and Journal of the Operational Research Society, over 50 Chinese academic papers on Economic Research, China Economic Quarterly, China Journal of Economics, Nankai Business Review and Journal of Public Management.
